Made with the finest quality Japanese air-dry clay, every tiny detail from this beloved bloom has been captured: down to the miniature stamens inside each bloom. The delicately arched stem of flowers is framed by the plant’s distinctive spoon shaped leaves, which are made from Japanese kozo paper painted with artist grade pigments.

And an extra special detail: a tiny handmade ladybug on the edge of the flower’s leaves. These little creatures are often seen as a token of good luck or a reminder of a treasured loved one.

This beautifully crafted lily of the valley is displayed on a solid wood base painted in a serene shade of pale lilac (Calluna from Farrow & Ball), enhanced with embossed foil paper trims from Germany. It is signed with the artist’s mark of a gold wax seal.
