canadian tulip festival

A special collection of handmade parrot tulips custom made for The Canadian Tulip Festival in Ottawa, ON (2021). Tulips were available for sale on the CTF’s online shop and were based on the 3 varieties of tulips showcased at the festival that year: Amazing Parrot, Flaming Parrot, and Webster’s Parrot (pictured here). Tulips were made by hand using polymer clay, with individually handpainted petals and crepe paper leaves. They were shown freestanding on a solid wood base with accents of preserved moss.

A special collection of 14 orchid specimens custom made for Longwood Gardens in Kennet Square PA. Specimens were on display and available for sale during the garden’s annual Orchid Extravaganza (January-March 2020)
