American Robin
American Robin
A beloved North American bird, shown perched on a nest of golden leaves. Though most robins spend their winters in more southern climes, the occasional bird will remain throughout the winter, and can be spotted feasting on winter fruits.
This festive scene is created with high quality Japanese air dry clay, cast with a silicone mold. It is then painted by hand with artist’s grade acrylic paints. It’s presented on a small oval plaque made of ⅛” birch ply painted in a serene shade of green (Farrow & Ball’s “Lichen”) and signed on the reverse with a gold clay seal.
Hangs easily with a looped velvet ribbon in a soft shade of mauve, and sealed with acrylic varnish to ensure years of tree trimming.
Dimensions:
Plaque measures 3” long
Ribbon loop is approx 2” long
